Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use skin1. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and linked Steam trade URL secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

skin1 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and all related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

skin1 connects buyers and sellers of in-game items. Most listings are shipped peer-to-peer by other users; some are delivered instantly from skin1’s own inventory. We are a facilitator of these trades and provide escrow and dispute tooling, but the underlying items are exchanged through Steam.

• Listed prices include all skin1 fees — there is no hidden spread.
• Reference prices shown on each item are estimates, not guarantees of value.
• Availability and delivery times depend on the individual seller.

Funds added to your balance may be used only to purchase items or cash out through an approved method. Balance is not a deposit account, earns no interest, and is not legal tender. Cashouts may require identity verification under our AML / KYC Policy.

You agree not to use skin1 to:

• Trade stolen, fraudulently obtained, or duplicated items.
• Engage in money laundering, fraud, or chargeback abuse.
• Use bots, scrapers, or exploits to manipulate prices or listings.
• Circumvent fees, regional restrictions, or account suspensions.

We may suspend or close accounts, cancel orders, and freeze balances where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms or applicable law.

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, skin1 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for downtime in third-party systems such as Steam. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable EU law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in advance, and your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
